It's National Quilting Day and naturally, I am quilting! This patchwork puzzle is my first attempt at a design with the Mirror Ball Dot. The pieces are scrambled so you can't see what I am making...unless you have one of those amazing brains that can rearrange the picture mentally. I even numbered them to give you a hand! (ok...I numbered them so I could put them back in place :) What are you working on today?

Okay, I think I have guessed what it is. Now I will wait and see if I am right!
ReplyDeleteQuilting, today...there's a thought. I have an applique block I need to finish.
We are celebrating National Quilting Day by . . . Knitting! and by experimenting with a soy milk Key Lime Pie! (The rules about celebrations are pretty loosey-goosey here in the Kingdom.)
ReplyDeleteWell.....unfortunately it was such a busy day that the only stitch sewn was to close the re-threaded elastic in a skirt waistband! Nooooo......I haven't worked it out yet......
ReplyDeleteI am celebrating by doing a bit more cutting fora future quilt. Then I did a bit of organizing the sewing table and finally I started on a tote bag that I received in a kit from my quilt guild. I will then be donated to the Mennonite Central Committee for their big quilt sale in May in New Hamburg, ONtario. Also helped daughter cut out her first dress that she is going to sew.
