How cool is this? My "Meadowsong" quilt made the cover of the latest issue of Quilter's Connection magazine. Doesn't that just say "spring"? :) Check out the Quilter's Connection blog for more info.
Lovely Karen! And congrats on being a Cover Girl!!! Is this issue out now? I must try again to find it, I have not had any luck finding an issue yet....
Thanks, Linda. This magazine will be out the first week in March, and is now available at Chapters. (I believe Fredericton has one?)Your friend Gail also contributed to this "going green" issue with some recycling tips, so Maritime quilters are well represented here :)
Cover Girl - now that's something to add to your accomplishments! I love it and can hardly wait to get my very first issue of this magazine in the mail. And now especially to see your design as well as Gail's green tips. Isn't quilt fun! Lucy
Congratulations on making the cover. I love that quilt. It's darling and yes, it's so springy. I'm glad to know it's going to be at Chapters. I'll get one of my kids to pick me up a copy at chapters.
The quilt was so beautiful, Karen, we just had to put it on the cover! The magazine will be available in Chapter's stores across Canada the week of March 8th for all who don't already subscribe! ~ Heather McArthur, Editor, Quilter's Connection Magazine
Your quilt is beautiful. I can"t wait to get my issue of the magazine! Appliqués are my favourite. Congratulation on it being on the cover. That does not surprise me in any way. You do beautiful work!
