This weekend a very unique event will take place in Springfield, New Brunswick.
The Gillis of Belleisle are hosting a quilt display at the winery on the weekend of August 7th and 8th. (The rain dates are the 14th and 15th). The quilts will be arranged amongst the vines, orchard and on the farm buildings and winery. Click on the poster below for more details:
The winery is a short drive from either Saint John or Fredericton. Personally, I can't imagine a more pleasant coupling than quilts and fine wine, and all proceeds from the event will go to the Canadian Breast Cancer Association.
