Tradition in Transition: Hanging The Show
This morning are pictures on Sandra Reford's blog showing the quilts being hung for the show in France. Above you can see Log Canada spread out on the pews with some of the others waiting their turn to go up. Sandra reports that there was a line-up for the doors to open and over 1000 visitors to this exhibit on the first day. She also presented a lecture on "Quilting in Canada" which was well attended and enthusiastically received.

Woohooo! Wouldn't it be fun to be there... Sigh...
ReplyDeleteHow exciting Karen! You must be so thrilled. And since I had the quilty pleasure of seeing "Log Canada" in person last year, I know everyone there will enjoy it too.
ReplyDeleteIt must give you a real charge to exhibit internationally - if it were me, I wouldn't be able to contain my excitement!
ReplyDeleteYour quilt looks so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on having your quilt exhibited
in France!
Amazing!! Love the red and white.. It's so, so Canadian. I'm so proud of you.
