I am working on another stole commission, with a very tight deadline. I was hesitant to accept this one, but Polly insisted she would help. The background for this stole is white satin, and it will be appropriate for special days in the church, such as communion. This funny looking thing will be a vine...
...and these circles will be appliquéd to form a cluster of grapes. We are auditioning which combination of colours and prints will work best. Fossil Fern is lovely for the grapes and leaves. We expect to toss the others out.
Polly likes the little fabric circles.
They will be placed on the vine just below these leaves.
Polly found the work exhausting...or boring...or perhaps a little of both. She conked out on the warm ironing board part way through the first cluster of grapes.
She is laying on the fabric I wanted to use, but she's just too darned cute to disturb.

  2. Fabulous stole.....what is it about kitties and warm ironing boards? I have to keep mine covered by an old towel when it's not in use so it doesn't get covered in hair.
