Basting

Today I am basting on the livingroom floor (I remembered to put the cat out first...). This is just a small piece, so no moving of furniture involved. Hubby will pick up my sewing machine tomorrow, it's been in the shop for a couple of weeks. In the interim, I have been piecing on my Mom's very reliable Kenmore (thanks, Mom :)
