Well...the show started yesterday at the Duke Energy Convention Center and I'm not there, but cyber-friend Katie has generously offered to take lots of pictures on her visit and send them along. In the meantime, thanks to technology we can visit virtually. If you click this link you can watch a really interesting webcast taken at the show. It sounds like an amazing experience.
On the left side of the screen there is a link to Special Exhibits; if you click this and choose O Canada 2011 from the top, there are 12 quilts from this exhibit displayed - and mine is one of them!! :)

Wow! Karen that is beautiful! congratulations.
ReplyDeleteLove it!
WOW!! Thanks for this. Didn't know my heart could skip so many beats in 10 minutes. Now I'm hanging by a thread. I thought Deborah Kendell was from Quebec (Beaconfield Guild). Maybe more then one. Definately looks like her work. Karen Echmeir's entry was different for her. She taught me Accidental Landscapes in Montreal. Lots of fun.
ReplyDeleteIt was a most injoyable 10 minutes & your quilt was just breath taking.... beyonds words. Thanks for sharing.
