Week's End

It's been a juggling act of a week and progress has been painfully slow on the Tall Ships quilt. The colours are way off in this picture, but it's awfully hard to get good available light at 5 am. Last evening I worked late piecing several more pinwheel units, so those blocks should build quickly today. The colours for this quilt have been pulled from our N.S. tartan: blue, green, yellow, white and red.

  1. Oh that's really cute! It totally looks like sailboats :)

I have a question for you. What are some good stitching and quilting magazines available in NS? I can't get any over here in Holland to save my life and my mother is going to collect some down in Sydney between now and October when she comes to visit. I'm not sure what to tell her to look for though :)

My email is Tammy (AT) Breigh (DOT) com if you have any suggestions!

    Thanks in advance!

  2. I have a suggestion. Why not have her contact the CQA rep for NS. I'm sure she might have some older issues of the Canadian Quilter. I used to be the rep for NB and was pleased to give non-current issues to travellers. Check the www.canadianquilter.com for the name and contact info for the NS rep.
